The Accessibi project was born by choosing as its starting point the most mature market in terms of accessibility legislation: the United States. Here, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) has for decades created a landscape where true compliance requires a rigorous and substantive approach. We therefore studied U.S. case law in depth, understanding that only usability tests conducted with real people could provide the required legal validity and practical effectiveness, rejecting automation shortcuts early on.
Bolstered by the knowledge gained in the U.S. market, we strengthened our research and development area in 2022. Our innovation focused on refining human testing methodologies and improving reporting processes to meet the complex needs of businesses. This has enabled us to consolidate the highest quality service in the United States, based on evidence and direct user experience, making us ready for international expansion.
As awareness increased and new regulations also approached on the old continent, we began our expansion into the European market. Our experience gained in the U.S. gave us a unique strategic advantage. Joining the GILBI group marked a key moment in this phase, strengthening our operational capabilities and enabling us to offer our approach based on real-world usability testing on a large scale, just as Europe was preparing for a new era of accessibility.
With the entry into force of the European Accessibility Act on June 28, 2025, mandatory compliance is now a concrete reality. Our journey thus enters its most significant phase. Building on experience born in the United States and established in Europe, Accessibi is guiding global enterprises through this new regulatory landscape, ensuring that accessibility is a continuous and sustainable process. Our commitment is to ensure verification processes that always put people at the center, responding not only to the letter but also to the spirit of international regulations.
